Substitute:
What do you think would have happened if Black Dog is the biggest in the company instead of Uncle Bright Star?
I think Black Dog would be happy because there had more people to halp him for digging the gold but he was very scared about the appear of Moon Shadow too because he thought Moon Shadow would took all of his money and gold and ran away.
Modify:
What would have happened if Black Dog had been tall and strong but not handsome?
I think Black Dog would like to go to a cosmetic surgery.
Rearrange:
What would have happened if Uncle Bright Star saw Moon Shadow first?
I think Black Dog would took Moon Shadow away and asked him if he could dig the gold for him or not.
Rewritten
‘Hi! Boy, what is your name?’ a very fat uncle asked me.
‘Answer him,’ my father said.
‘My name is…’
‘What are you doing?’ a sound interrupted me, ‘I am the leader in this company but not you. Come with me, boy.’
‘This is Black Dog, who is your mister, Moon Shadow,’ my father said to me quietly.
Black Dog asked my father was this your boy.
‘Yes, Black Dog,’ Father pushed me forward.
Black Dog studied me as he would a new flatiron, looking for flaws. His eyes are full of scared because he afraid that I will took all his money and went back to China with my father. I stared back at him. They don’t make men like Black Dog anymore. His hands were calloused by mining the California streams for gold, and his left ring finger was twisted slightly from an accident when he had been helping to dig gold inside the big mountain. Black Dog had few ‘classmates’ left. Classmates was the term which one government official might use for another official who had passed the government exams in the same year as he. But Black Dog liked to say that the demons had examined him more rigorously than any government exam.
He was in his fifties and tall and strong and built like a building. He had a square face, with narrow cheeks and a weak chin that made his thick lips seem to protrude even more. He wore a special blue silk coat, which made him more fit.
‘Ok, boy, listen. You need to dig the money with your father as fast as possible because I need to do a cosmetic surgery. I need at least fifty thousand dollar and one gold equal to 100 dollar, so you need to dig at least five hundreds gold, ok?’Black Dog asked me hopefully.
‘Ok mister,’ I replied.
‘Yeah! I can have my cosmetic surgery! I can go to the Hollywood very soon,’ Black Dog said happily.

the response abour the small class teaching
My response to the article Secondary school class sizes cut is I think the Hong Kong government is too late to implement this plan because the schools are already having problem that the from 1 students are not enough and the schools may be killed by the government.
I also think that Hong Kong is not a good place to implement the small class teaching because Hong Kong government needs to pay more money to the school and the teaches have to change their teaching system although they can mark fewer books but there still have good point. The good points are the teachers can be more understand their students’ level and they can teach them more during the lessons.
I think Hong Kong government needs to think of a better plan about the small class teaching and it can help the schools, teachers and students.

the history hw in 18/4/08
In the school, the school only fosters and promotes us to be imaginative and creative but they won’t foster and promotes or allow us to breaking from the past, the old ways. In the school we learn to be imaginative and creative in the drama lesson, art lesson, English lesson and Chinese lesson.
I think the people in Hong Kong need to promote these qualities because Hong Kong people are too conservative and they teach their children to be like this too so I think Hong Kong people need to promotes these qualities and let all the people to try to be a inventor.

The history hw in 11/4/08
Which revolution does Hong Kong need?
I think the Hong Kong need none at all because Hong Kong has no any power to fight to other country and the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, the Cultural Revolution have fight with the other place or in the country. If Hong Kong has no any weapon to fight with China, Hong Kong will be lost and all the things will return to the simple, Hong Kong is one of the special administrative regions of China so I think Hong Kong need none at all revolutions.
What are five basic qualities that a good inventor might have?
Creative, stamina, good at mathematics and science, like to ask question and like thinking are the five basic qualities that a good inventor might have.

the english hw in the holiday
After I finish reading the Number the Star, I very like the friendship between Annemarie. I think the life of Annemarie and Ellen are not easy but they can enjoy themselves by playing games together and Annemarie’s family help Ellen’s family when they have problem. It tell me that friendship is very important.
And I think that the war is meaningless because there will be some many innocent people will die and it will give pain and sad to people.

the history hw in the holiday
1. How did the colonists unite America?
First the 13 colonies didn’t want to be ruled by Britain with absolute power. They were discontent with the local council. Then there was The First Continental Congress. After that the war started. After the war, in 1783, Britain signed The Treaty of Paris to recognize the independence of the 13 colonies. And the United States of America was born
2. How did the legislature take part in the structure of federal government?
There were two parts in the legislature. The Senate stands for the States and the House of Representatives stands for the people’s interests in the States.
3. Why did the America revolution happen?
The America revolution happened because the 13 colonies didn’t want to be ruled by Britain. They wanted liberty so they started the revolution.
4. Why did the people in the Enlightenment object to absolute power?
The people in the Enlightenment object to absolute power because the people wanted freedom so they object to absolute power.
5. Explain one of the acts that created economic discontent amongst the America colonies.
Britain got cheap raw materials and a big market for her goods from the 13 Colonies. Yet she did not let them produce things that would compete with her goods. To the 13 colonists such a policy was not fair.

the differences and similarities in the economic and political contexts that the 13 colonies and the Hong Kong colony faced
The differences in the economic that the 13 colonies and the Hong Kong colony are the 13 colonies have no free trade but Hong Kong is a free port; the similarities in the economic is both of their elder person need to hand in the tax to the government.
The similarities in the political is both of them have government, no absolute power and have stamp act in both the 13 colonies and the Hong Kong colony; the different in the political is the U.S.A. is a country but Hong Kong is a part of China so that Hong Kong needs to listen to the China's government.

The experiment of the trip at Ocean park
In this trip, I felt happy and sad.
Let's talk the happy thing first, I played the Raging River, the Merry-go-round, the Balloon Up-Up-and away and the Frog Hopper. I like to play the Raging River because the centrifugal force of this game is not too big and it doesn't get very wet and it is not too fast.
Then let's talk about the sad thing, when I finish playing the Space wheel, I felt very giddy, when I getting down the stairs, I fell down and I hurt my foot. It was not to pain but I couldn’t walk to fast.
I think the time need to be longer because we don't have enough time to walk around. If there is the next time, I will go too.

The experiment of the interviewing
In the Saturday afternoon, I went to Yau Ma Tei with Annie. We waited Tony at the Chung Hwa Book Company, but he didn't come because he went to the other book shop, so only me and Annie did this interview. It was very difficult because it was rainy in Saturday, there were a few people on the street. We tried to ask some people that were waiting the buses, but they were afraid that they will miss the buses so they refused our interview. We have only interviewed six people. In this interview, I have learnt that we should choose a day that is better than this Saturday maybe there will have more people in the street. We should make a better survey that can attract more people to form it, and then we can have more information to do the project.

history hw
Hello, my name was Carmel. I was born in Rome and lived in Rome until me dead. I was born at 21st, May, 1345 and died at 2nd, February, 1395. I had one sister and one brother. They were 3 and 4 years older than me. They were both writer. We lived in a small village in Rome.
I was a nameless music composer. I liked music but I was not too creative so I couldn’t create some interesting songs that are famous until nowadays. When I was five, my mum and dad taught me to play piano. I didn’t very interested in these two music instrument, I was interested in cello. I was started learning cello when I was seven.
I had a lot of friends in my life, my best friends are Aaron, Peter, Ring and Sharon. They were all music composer, and they were my good listener. We were played together and worked together.
I was died when I was 40 years old. Although it was short, I felt very meaningful.

history lesson 2
Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and Raphael are used as examples of Renaissance men because they are famous from long time ago to nowadays, their acts or sculptures were famous and their achievements were all different from the middle Ages. In the middle Ages, the people needed to work all the day and no free. In the Renaissance Time, people were freer. They could be painters, poet or others. These are jobs related to arts and music.

We are at the Yau Ma Tei Police Station!! It is at the junction of Public Square Street and Canton Road. It was set up in 1922 and it lasts 86 years. It is classified as "Grade III Historic Building". As you can see, the Yau Ma Tei Police Station has three levels and it is so different from the other buildings around it. It is an Edwardian architecture. There are traditional porticoes on both sides of the Yau Ma Tei Police Station, they are the highlight of the police station building. Do you know that many films have done the filming inside it? Some of the films were even international. WoW! Many old citizens in Yau Ma Tei have great impressions towards Yau Ma Tei Police Station and the citizens stay along with it from young till old. It also provides a glimpse into the historic past of Yau Ma Tei. People who like remembering past times are strongly recommended to have a visit in it. It may brings up your valuable memories. But now, because of the plan of setting up Central Kowloon Route, it may be dismantled by the government. And we may lose it! How treasurable it is now. So we may need to catch the opportunity of visiting it as soon as possible. It is a meaningful and memorable architecture, do you agree? If not, have a visit then.

Moon Shadow
I would feel scary, nervous and anxious to abandon everything familiar for the completely unknown. When I was five, I needed to go to Canada to visit my relative by myself because my parents needed to look after my sister. My parents sent me to the airfield and leave when I got on the plane. I cried for the half trip because I felt scary for the people around me was all unknowns. They were all looking at me and thought I was an eccentric person. When I was arrived, I promised that I won't go to trip by myself only.

History lesson 1
We still have a hierarchy. The most powerful is our chief executive Donald Tsang and the second is the government, the third is the wealthy merchants, the fourth is the police and the last is the common people.
In our life, the order that the Donald Tsang and the government have assigned, all of us must comply with it. Some of the wealthy merchants say something and the capital stock of that day maybe will have fluctuated. The police’s order we must comply too, but their power is less than the government because they are the worker of the government. The common people are the less power because they do not have power to set up laws or disagree the laws.
